Olipa tämä mielenkiintoinen pisteltävä. Olen pitkään ja hartaasti tätä pistellyt ja sain valmiiksi tuossa ennen joulua. :) Malli on ilmaismalli (!!!) ja löytyy Gazette94:n blogista. Ihania malleja vaikka pienempiinkin projekteihin, vai mitä?
Sanoin vastikään jollekin oupsilaiselle, että on se vaan kumma kuinka ihmisellä maku muuttuu ajan saatossa. Muutama vuosi sitten en ymmärtänyt yhtään henkilöitä, jotka pistelevät samplereita. Ja tässä sitä nyt ollaan. :)

Wow, this was interesting to stitch. I have been stitching this for quite a while now and just finished it before Christmas. :) The design is a freebie (!!!) and you can find it in Gazette94's blog. I love those tiny samplers, you can use them for all kinds of smaller projects, right?
I was just telling some of my fellow stitchers that it is funny how your taste in cross stitch designs can change over time. Couple of years ago I couldn't understand anyone who stitched samplers and now look at me. :)
Pistelin tämän itse 32 ct pellavakankaalle. Lankana mulla on Pomme de Pinin Au coin du feu, jota saa ainakin Violariumista. Ei ihan kaksi tokkaa lankaa riittänyt ainakaan mulla, joten kannattaa ostaa kyllä heti kolme. Tai jos tiheämmälle pistelee, niin sitten riittää varmaan kaksi, koska siitä kolmannesta tokasta meni minulla tosi vähän.

I stitched this on 32 ct linen fabric. The thread is Pomme de Pin's Au coin du feu, which you can buy from Violarium. I used just over two skeins, so if you are planning on stitching this, you might as well get three at the same time. Or if you want to stitch this on higher count fabric, two skeins will probably be enough, because I needed very little amount from the third skein.
Mitäs muuta? Pakkasta pitelee edelleen Oulussa ihan kiitettävästi, taisi juuri -30 paukkua rikki. :) Poitsu alkaa pikku hiljaa hyppiä seinille, koska ei ole päässyt pitkään aikaan ulos jytältämään. :)

So what else is up then? The weather is still freezing over here in Oulu, I think we just went below -30C (which equals -22F). Our son seems to have waaayyy too much energy because it's just too cold to go outside and play there. :)
Taidetaan siis huomennakin keskittyä ihan rauhassa lämmittelemään takkaa ja leikkimään pikkuautoilla. :) Jospa sinne johonkin väliin sais survottua myös ristipistoja. :)

So I think that tomorrow's agenda will include putting more logs into the fireplace and playing with the toy cars with our son. :) Maybe I will squeeze some stitching into the schedule as well. :)
