Ruusuja - Roses

Kiitokset!!! ♥

My long term friend MiPe gave me these roses on my birthday. After the first amazement I realized that the roses are actually pages of telephone directory which have been dipped in red candle wax. What a wonderful idea and such beautiful end result. Thank you!!! ♥

 I read within a poet's book

A word that starred the page:

"Stone walls do not a prison make,

Nor iron bars a cage!"

Yes, that is true; and something more

You'll find, where'er you roam,

That marble floors and gilded walls

Can never make a home

But every house where Love abides,

And Friendship is a guest,

Is surely home, and home-sweet-home:

For there the heart can rest.

Viime kesänä systerille mennyt pöllökortti. :)

Gave this owl card for my sister last summer. :)

Paper houses - Paperitaloja

These tiny paper houses are something I made with our son. They are quite small, the tallest house is only 12 cm high. You can print these houses on paper, there are quite a lot of different models if you can find them. (Sorry, I can't remember the exact address for these particular houses, but I do know they are on that website.)

Kiitos kun kävit ja palaillaanpa taas!

Halloween paper crafts

Paper crafts with our son. This is a printable paper craft, available here. Just print, cut and glue together, very easy. :) We have been doing other Halloween paper crafts lately as well, but that's all I'm going to say about them at this moment. :)
